Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas. It snowed on Christmas Eve and Texans being Texans, most people seemed to panic and my parents decided not to go to midnight mass and so we didn't go for our annual IHOP outing after mass and we stayed home and watched movies. Yesterday was quiet- Sarrah had to work but it was the two of us and our parents to open gifts at noon (everybody else slept way in) But I did get away with some good stuff- a lot of very useful things for the apartment and that sort of thing. My sister's girlfriend was out of the house and my sister and I actually got along fairly decently. My mom and I went shopping today and I managed to pick up a few more things that I needed for the apartment- I think I have just about everything now, and it's only a matter of small stuff that I need to pick up once I get there. Like a trashcan for my bathroom and curtains for my bedroom windows. I want thermal curtains to block out the sunlight so I can sleep in. Which will be nice because I haven't slept in in ages.
Gosh I'm nervous and excited.
I need to work on packing. And I have chatty characters but haven't been able to write them much- I know I need to touch base with some people for rp stuff and get cracking on Order plot for 91.
Speaking of 91, anybody want to pick up a bloke at 91 to be Emmeline's friend/maybe-more who's helped out with Liam? Some things fell through and I'd really really love to have that line filled.
I had more to say but I'm falling asleep at the computer so I will go ahead and post. Tomorrow needs to be a good day.

Do we want to play the actual characters somewhere? Or do we just want to use the PBs? I think that's what we have to figure out first.
Then we can figure out where the hell to put them. Cause if we're just using the faces, we can stick them just about anywhere you know?

Dennis Quaid is ridiculously young in The Right Stuff. And that movie is supper long (oh my gosh). I started watching it late last night and whoa. It was like ... long. Really long.
Today I watched T2, Aliens and part of Planet Terror. I think because of that (and this is mostly me musing outloud) I am all KICK SOME ASS LADIES, and was wondering if anyone maybe wanted to play Colleen Wing or Misty Knight? I kind of want to play one of them, but there the kind that kind of go together.
And I'm not sure because my plate is full. It's just I LOVE overachiever Paige, and 'I have disdain for you all' JM but I kind of want a girl who is more with the kicking of ass. Or I do right now because Linda and Sigourney kick so much ass in those films. Rose is ... okay ... but her character grates right on my nerves in PT. I watch it mostly for the Willis and the Biehn.
And randomly meesha I meant to tell you this ages ago. But in your Brinary log where she says "The being you once knew as Carol Danvers is no more. Only Binary remains." In my head that sounds like the part from Ghostbusters with "There is no Dana only Zuul!"

God knows I can't resist playing adult teachers. They're just so fun. And when given the opportunity of in-game shenanigans like Kettleburn and Euler terrorizing Beery and pranking his office (LOL) like at bw_mods, I really really can't resist playing adult teachers.
But I am having trouble picking a PB! Or really, even deciding what I'd like in a PB. So I'm asking for PB recommendations!
PROFESSOR HERBERT BEERY
-Herbology prof
-Hufflepuff alum
-40+ at least
-Runs choir and drama clubs
-Canonically, he adapted the story of The Fountain of Fair Fortune fable into a pantomime, which resulted in multiple shenanigans, including a fire and a duel between two girls in the play. And his dramatic productions seem to have a curse on them which makes them unlucky, so I'm assuming shenanigans become more and more frequent, which--LOL LOL AND MORE LOL.
-Also eventually leaves Hogwarts to teach at Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts (W.A.D.A).
-In-game, will be the target of pranks by those reckless hoodlums Silvanus "Kettles" Kettleburn (kettleburn) and Schroedinger Euler (euler)
